FA Boyd, P.C., formerly Hyatt & Stubblefield, P.C., has a history that spans more than four decades, beginning in 1973 when our founder, Wayne Hyatt, was elected president of his condominium association and quickly recognized the need for specialized legal advice for condominiums and homeowners associations. The firm's attorneys soon became recognized as national leaders in dealing with the legal issues relating to condominium and homeowners associations. With a unique understanding of the need for careful planning, superior draftsmanship, and a preventive law approach to creating condominiums and community associations, the firm's practice expanded to representation of developers in the creation and operation of all types of common interest communities.
Today, FA Boyd, P.C. continues to be an innovative leader in providing legal advice and assistance to developers in the creation of legal documentation for condominiums, planned communities, clubs, resorts and mixed-use developments. With more than 30 years of experience working with hundreds of different communities, we have a unique understanding of the range of options available in structuring, operating, and selling new communities, how those options work in practice, the legal constraints, and the pitfalls to be avoided.
